Day one........ Went by fairly quickly! Showed up at the pax terminal at 6:30 am and by 8:30 Jared was being corralled in a room apart from us. We were told we could watch them board the plane and after a series of delays we watched them walk out to the plane at 9:15....... we then jumped in our car and headed to flight line overlook were we watched Daddy's Jet take off at 9:30 am~ Bitter Sweet...... Yes he was gone, but now we could begin the count down to him getting home! <3
So That night we created a paper chain to count down the days!
And Day 2 we began pulling numbers off the Chain!
We decided to add to this deployment tradition by adding a prayer tree...........
Each day we pull off a paper loop we write prayers on a 3 X 2.5 index card and tie it to our prayer tree.
Just a little moment each day to really focus our love and prayers on Jared. <3
