On the first day of Christmas.......

So my Blogging the past few months has been well..... SLACKING! But as we prepare for another Deployment Departure I thought I would dust off the Keyboard and Shine a light into our CRAZY life again.

So last Year for Dec we did the 24 days of Christmas..... This year I started writing out a list to try and accomplish that Adventure again and well... after listing 4 outings, I scraped that idea and decided this year I did NOT have the energy for that! LOL

So to count down to Christmas we did LEGO calenders...... And to really test my ability to let the "Type A" go........ I let them open what ever box they wanted each day... in stead of 24, 23, 22, 21.... they did something like 15, 4, 24, 13, 6..... I know~ walking on the WILD side! Hahahaha

ok I digress....... Blogging, Slacking, Christmas.... oh yes!!!! Christmas!

It has been said that the 12 Days of Christmas could have been written as a "catechism song" to help young Catholics learn their faith. In my research (hoping to prove it true) I have found that it was very unlikely and that most historians support it was written  as fun. But I love the symbolism that people have attached to each day supporting the Journey of our savior.... Starting with Christmas Day his Birth. So we are going to do the 12 Days of Christmas Jesus style.... with a Krystal twist~

And as we all know... On the first day of Christmas our True Love Gave to US "A Partridge in a pear tree"   Jesus!

So let the 12 Days of Christmas BEGIN.........
