What we did today
Math Games!
Caden was doing multiples of 3, after 20 min of the game she was much faster at her math facts!
I had her throwing in the puffballs and keeping it there till she filled up the whole tin.
When it went in a hole she had to say the answer for that multiplication set.
They were written on small cards at the bottom.
Gunner was working on his plus 1's
When you land on a number you have to say the answer if you get it right then you keep the puffball.
He got much faster at his math facts too!
OK now its time to make our canned salad.....
I got the idea from this website.
Supposedly its supposed to help keep your lettuce fresh and convenient.
I am a bit skeptical~ But I'll try it!
First I chopped some onions & made my Cilantro ranch dressing.
(Dressing: 16 oz light sour cream, packet of ranch about 1/3 cup fat free milk, cilantro Blend)
This one I added salsa on top of the ranch,
I am going to add black beans too and try it as a taco salad.
Layers: onion, ranch, cheese, olive, egg.
(no egg in the taco one)

Put in fridge, and now I have lunch for a week!
Then I tried making garlic Kale Chips
They are ok...
Jareds sick today~ he went to sick call and they gave him Sudafed and then told him to take the day off so he went back to the dorm and back to bed. Pray that he feels better soon, cause the worst part of all this... if he wants food he has to walk 3 miles in the snow to catch a bus to go get food. No fun when your not feeling well!
