Awaiting Adventure!: Caden's 12th Birthday

May 12 - She turns 12! Her Golden Birthday!!!

and her last year of being a pre-teen! Yikes

I hate to bake - I buy cakes..... but Caden's not a huge fan of the cakes here.

So I set out to bake a cake... its from a box.... It cant be that hard.

We have a tradition of Birthday Cinnamon rolls!

Present 1- Picked out by her brother!

Present 2 - GOLDEN Oreo's

Present 4- Lego from Daddy

Present 6- Window Craft

Then we took a break and went to the Gyor ZOO

As we left the Zoo we asked Caden- If you could have anything for lunch what would you have?

We were about 45 min North of our town in the next largest town.

So we had a few more options here for food.

Caden said "Seafood!"- I gave her that " Come on....Really" look... not because we don't want seafood, because that's a REALLY tall order here. I had no clue where to find that! So I sat there and racked my brain thinking about places we have seen/eaten at that could possibly have something on their menu close to seafood~ I had no clue. Then I remembered there was an outlet mall in Austria 45 min N of where we were, that had a Nordsee - A upper scale chain fast food restaurant.

So off we went~ To Austria for Lunch

Caden got her California Roll Sushi & her Fish and Chips

Plus an Arizona Ice Tea & mini Oreo's

She had a great time!

Then home for more fun!

The other day at Claire's she saw these and wanted them so badly. She had been asking for feather earrings for a few weeks. It was our first store we went into in the mall so I told her I would think about it. Afterwards Jared and gunner slipped off to go do "boy stuff" as we looked at shoes and scarves... They went back and got the earrings. As we left the mall she said, did you decide mom? and I smiled and said not today, I'm not sure your old enough yet... so mean!
