When I was little we would make paper cones fill with flowers and hang them on peoples doors~ ring the bell and run away. That was fun~ I think every year... I should do that with my kids!
But then I don't... But this year we went and bought and planted flowers~ so that's almost as good! ;)
First we spent all morning weeding this flowerbed, oh my goodness did it have a TON of weeds and was mostly covered in moss. I filled a 30 gallon yard bag full of moss & weeds. Then we spread out the last of the bark dust and walla~ BEAUTIFUL
Spent another hour or so mowing the front yard.
Then meet Christie for Coffee
Kids had a mini cup cake
I had an iced vanilla latte
Yes this is nice!
Jared and Matt had made plans to go to coffee in there "Undisclosed Location" before Christie and I,
apparently Christie told Matt "It will be just like us all going to coffee"
Funny thing~ I said the SAME thing to Jared~ and told him to send me a picture of them at coffee

After that we went to Lowe's and bought flowers
Then Came home and planted flowers
I was going for a red white & blue theme but the closest I could get to blue in my price range was the purple and white pansy's. But I think it looks good! :)
