Daily Living

Well I think we may finally be getting close to normal on the sleep schedule  we didn't wake up at 3 am this morning~ We all slept in till 7!!!

Jared went to work and the kids and I did school and AWANAS, Jared came home for lunch and we made brownies for Bible Study. Then this evening we went and bought some stuff to make sandwiches for dinner. We made it special by letting the kids pick out the meat and cheese and there own bread. We then went home and built up our sandwiches into Yummy goodness! After dinner we all headed out to Bible Study and enjoyed a great evening with new friends.

Here is some Photo's from the last 3 day's~ Enjoy!
(I had these all almost loaded last night after over an hr's worth of work and I lost it all
when I accidentally shut the screen down. I was super bummed! But here it is finally!)

There are 3 skylight upstairs its the "window" in the rooms.
This is our room

This is the bathroom, there is a seat that the kids can steep on and look ate the window

This is the view at sunrise. We can hear the church bells.

This is the view out our Window.
That yellow building is Papa Support
We think it has something to do with the base
but havent gotten the exacts on what it is.
Our Cab came form there.

View from my room towards the kids room.

First Day of School

Special treat at the end of the first day.

Kinder Egg

He got a Car!

So did DADDY!!!

Its a 1979 VW Golf

It has cranks for windows, and a choke to start it when its cold.
I haven't been brave enough to learn to drive it yet. But that's going to have to happen soon.
Jared leaves for training the 21st of the month.

Day two of school

Both kids are working on Math.

Grammer ~ Sentence structure

I think I have already said it but there are a lot of Cats here.
on the property here there are 6 consistent cats we see and we have heard 12
all together. We talk to the cats and occasionally & pet there heads.
But Jared says we shouldn't because they aren't as good about veterinary care here.
But the kittens are SOOOO cute, its hard not to pet them. We just make sure to wash our
hands good afterwards! Today we said hi to 4 cats as we walked by and they all followed us to the Sun room. The kitten was playing off to the far left and hes not it the picture.

We went to T- Mobile, not at all like the states.
There are no phones sitting out to play with.
You pick a phone off a list and they bring it to you.
There are no Package deals you get 50 Txt and after that you pay
for each one. And I still havent figured out exactly how much our monthly
bill will be??? Should be interesting :)

My new Smart but not as smart as it should be phone! ;)

Here in Hungary they LOVE there Ice Cream and its very similar to American Ice Cream.
In the summer we have been told there is Ice Cream stands every few feet on the walking streets.

We decided to try some from the store. This kind was super rich
and a small scoop was plenty. It was really good with the powdered chocolate on top.

We ran out of cereal so Jared went to the store to get us some.
The store he went to only had chocolate. Cereal isn't a big breakfast food here.
So we will have to try some different stores till we find some different types.

Here is a Map of the whole town. You can get from one end to the other in about 15 min.
We are learning very quickly where things are. :)

Learning AWANA verses.

Caden finished 3 sections, completing 1 Discovery Zone.

Gunner had a hard page this week so he only completed one section.

They had a welcome bag full of American treats when we got here so
I made brownies for Bible Study tonight.

This is our Oven.
Its a regular Oven and a convection oven in one.
And its not F* it C* :)
But I didnt burn the brownies and they turned out Yummy!

This is the bread everyone chose

Making our sandwiches

Meats and Cheeses

We had to buy this cause it was so funny looking.
We think its Ham and pepperoni.

This was a soft cheese almost like a cream cheese but a little bit harder.

Jared bought more cookies ~
Oh but by the way don't say cookie in public here
the way we say it sounds like there work Kuki
Which means Male Genital's
so we say Biscuit, or at least we try and remember
to say that.......

We found Apple Sauce!!!
There was only one kind~

The boys, The kids really enjoyed Sandwich night, I think it may become a weekly
event, having a sandwich was really like having a piece of America.
Back in the states we loved subway so this was the closest we are going to get to that.

We were excited to find a Lego store.
But really it was a Lego Shelf, in a baby, clothes, toy store that was smaller than
half teh size of an American Lego Store. But it was fun and we got to look at Lego's which the kids loved and then wanted to buy. :)

We have a building Down Town Cald The Mnfc
Multi-National Family Center
Its like an Airman and Family Rediness Center
Except its also just a place to hang out.
They have 2 small book shelves with kids books.

The kids were in Heaven. They each sat there for an Hour
looking through books. We even got to borrow some and take them home!
I am thinking by the end of this 2 years we will have read every
one of those books.

We were told to try the Storks Nest & there Gulosh
It was Yummy, But we got WAY to big of bowl.
I was not able to finish mine!

The kids got cream Cheese Chicken & Croquettes
Croquettes have become an instant family favorite.
They are like mashed potato tatter tots

Off to find a House today!!!! YAY~
