April/May: C-17 flight to Germany

Waiting to load the bus ~ we are taking a C-17 to Germany

Gunner and a friend "plant" flowers.

Caden waiting in the gazebo ~ We waited about 3 hours before we could load the bus.
Thankful it was such a nice day!

We made it onto the plane.... where we wait another hour.

C-17's are kinda loud planes

We are excited for our journey!

Waiting for our turn to back up.That may have been Jared's plane taking off before us. The pilots cant see behind the plane to know when to turn so the loadmasters job is to be the "lookout" and signal the pilots when to turn.

All our bags ~ They doubled in size on the return flight.

Passing the time

Now that's the way to fly

This was Caden's flying buddy~ They traveled well together!

First time flying on Daddy's Plane~ Too bad he couldn't come with us!

We got to get up an move around a bit, once we hit altitude

Elaine invited us over for Schnitzel a German dish~ It was so good!

Gunner was good friends with these guys back in Preschool~

The girls talked fashion and looked at magazines!

DAY 3:

Bowling!

Left handed?

Right handed?

Which one to chose???

Or you can just laugh at the MANY poses of Gunner!

Then we went and got Starbucks!

Oh Vanilla Latte how I love thee! <3

Doug needed a ride ~ But this was the only place to sit in our micro car.....
Its ok~ He got his eyes dilated a few hours before this ~ He didn't have a clue as to where we put him.
