We hit the road at 8:30 am GPS said 11 1/2 hours till HOME
But............ we had a few stops along the way.
So we knew it was going to be a LONG day!
Snowballs for Breakfast~ Mine was Cappuccino YUM!
kinda tasted a little like pie crust...
Stop one: Weiesbaden -
Stop two: Darmstad.... 2 Starbucks latter and NO MUG!
Sooooo Sad!!!
They did have a pretty cool Starbucks with a statue for King Ludewig
Same King that built Neuschwanstein Castle
Stop three: Mainz
Apparently no photos- But it was a REALLY cute little town!
Also.... No Mug! :(
Stop four: Frankfurt
Hey~ Its the guy from Seattle's Brother.....
Apparently he works here....
Cool Trolley
THEY HAD A MUG!!!
My day has now improved!
Quick Lunch
I really liked this city~ It had a very home like feel.
Busy and energetic!
Ya hes mine~ and I LOVE him so much!
My Starbucks kid~ He chose not to get a muffin at Starbucks in the morning
Hoping that somewhere on our 4 (turned into 6 looking for mugs)
Starbucks journey we would find a scone...
To his disappointment German Starbucks don't serve scones.
What crumbs on my face???
HAHAHAHAHA~ A Segway tour group!
See like I said~ reminded me of home....
Have you ever been to Portland?? Its an awesomely odd place!
Good bye big city!
Strange building in the middle of no-where,
up on the hill ~ where we stopped to get gas.
Stop five: Nuremburg
So far one of my favorites~ such a cute little town!
Some of the city seemed to be built into/inside the old castle walls.
Right here we are inside the castle walls~ We are going to drive up this street...
and through a arch way out of the city
People sitting up on the castle wall.
cool gate
Solar panels and windmills are everywhere in Germany.
Still have about 5 more hours on the road as the sun sets and reflects of the Danube River.
German Road trip = Success
8/11 intended Starbucks Mugs acquired.
Now to find the other 3 online or from friends!
