So I sent Jared a Date in a box.....
I know sounds weird doesn't it!
My friend Darci thought it did~
I really wanted to do something with Jared that was the "same"
That's really hard when where hes at he cant even wear civilian clothing.
Jared bought a $10 water heater thing a long time ago and when hes on short missions he travels with it.
He didn't take it with him because if he really wanted hot water he would walk to the chow hall.
Well I sent it to him... along with a package of hot coco, some marshmallows, and a Starbucks cake ball.
His box arrived today. So when we chatted on the phone earlier we made plans to meet up after the kids were asleep. Jared really enjoyed that he was able to heat up hot water in his room.
He is a bit concerned about how hes going to get all the stuff I have sent him home! HAHAHAHA
I told him hes going to have to buy another suitcase! LOL
But on with the show~
And this is how Date in a box, began.
We have our Hot Coco....
(Do you recognise the cups? Think Anniversary in a box~ LOL)
And our Cake Ball....
Date Night~
I wrote Jared an e-mail thanking him for our date~
I told him I was thankful that we try so hard to make the most out of every situation we have apart.
ya I will admit~ Hot Coco at 11 on a Friday night isn't my dream date~ but it was with my dream guy!
Sometimes all it takes is a little sugar to make a long distance relationship "sweet"
THANK YOU JARED!
~I had a lovely evening~
