Easter Dress

What a beautiful day today!!!!

I had the screen doors in use today

getting some nice fresh air flowing through this house.

Got a lot of home school work done this morning

Cleaned a bunch of the house, and the kids played outside.

After dinner they went out again and I was able to sit at my sewing table and watch them play..

What did I sew????

An Easter Dress for Caden!

Got the idea from another 7th Spouse to make pillow case dresses.

I looked and looked online for a good free pattern but for Cadens age the

free ones (that i liked) were hard to find~ had she been 2-5... we would have been set!

Luckily we found one at Joanns, picked out some fabric and started sewing.

I have learned I love the stencils to trace and cut out my fabric~ but past that

the directions don't make a whole lot of sense... I am more of a visual learner so reading it

off the pattern usually doesn't get me too far so~ most of this pattern, I just winged it.

But I am happy with the results!

Adding the ties

Yay its done

Very simple and quick!

Now add the shirt and leggings to match and our outfit is complete!

Taking down another ring~ mommy had to lower it again because

Gunner couldn't reach, there is no more lowering after today though, its hanging off the last ring.
