Chicken Soup

Sometimes sickness can be a blessing...

and I don't mean~ YAY ~ we are sick! LOL

And I pray that we don't get sicker than what we have....

Just ~ it was nice to sit around today and cuddle my lil man.

His ear is hurting him~ he spent most of last night crying and whining about it.

At 3 am I wasn't super excited about him being sick.... but he got some books and

laid in bed with me and that helped him through the night.

this afternoon it was felling a tiny bit better but it was still sore and hes got a mild fever.

So I made some homemade-ish chicken soup for dinner.

Because Chicken soup makes EVERYONE feel better!

Meet Kit ~ An American Girl Tale

Gunner came out after Caden read him the first story asking what the Great Depression was.

Love that he is learning from her and that I get to expand on that after the story!

Because we were home all day and Jared is "home" for the next 2 days

he was able to stay up late and skype with us twice today.

We both enjoyed the time and the relaxed nature of neither of us needing to rush off.

But it does make us a little more home sick for each other.....
