The Big Picture

Well I got to do my most favorite thing ever today!!!! DENTIST~ (ok going to slightly complain) BLAH! LOL

But I do now have Clean and Shiny teeth~ : D

Then we came home and had lunch and visited with Christie for a bit.

After Christie left and we got some school work done ~ we headed to the base for some BX shopping~ LOL  Got some stuff to send to Jared and something else special that will make its debut tomorrow!~

Then home to make dinner~ an exciting night of Hot Dogs~ which the kids hated by the way.... apparently I got a spicy kind and they were too HOT. OOPS~ I tried doing a kid friendly meal

Then we wrote some letters and made a BIG picture to send to Jared

then we packed up our box~ and its almost ready to go.....

Gunner writing his....... upside down.... LOL Gotta love a pre reader who doesn't realize the Dear, is at the bottom of his page! When I went to transcribe some writing for him it made me laugh! :)

This is like the 3rd time they have read this book in the last few days ~ plus listened to it at least 3 times on CD...... Gunner was seriously reciting parts of the book in the car today~ Not sure what the obsession with if you give a moose a muffin is~ but I LOVE that they are reading!

Jan 24 ~ the start to a new week

Our Prayers for Jared

(After drawing our Big Picture tonight I got a phone call and it got my gears rolling in my head.........)

In talking with a girl friend tonight we got on the subject of Gods Big Picture........ And to tell you the truth I didn't have any answers for her. I couldn't tell her why week after week her family was going through so much sickness. But latter I began to think........and, I think at one time or another we all wrestle with this.... What is Gods big Picture? I know I did for quite some time after Jocilyns death..... and I probably still dwell on it from time to time....

But another friend has quoted me saying....... and saying a few times........ "Whats one yr in hell compared to a lifetime of happiness?" But what if we took that one small quote bigger? Whats 20 years in hell compared to 50 years of happiness? Then I began to think BIGGER......... this here (earth) is our temporary home... what if you spent 70 years here on this earth suffering.... but in your suffering you lifted everything you had to God, and gave him glory? Could you imagine the blessing you would receive when you laid your crown at his feet?

Just a thought........  does it answer "Whats Gods Big Picture?"  No.....  but only one person can..... and I have stuff to do here before I ask him that! : )
