Drama of the day: Caden wiped out half a freezer of food.... oops! by leaving the door open~ sorta my fault too though! I have been trying to give her more responsibility and she was helping me cook yesterday and put stuff away. Oh well, she helped me clean it out and throw stuff away. Not much can be done about it now!
We got our school work done, in about 2 hrs ish~ It wasn't in a row, so its hard to track. But we rocked it today! Went to Barns and Noble~ I *heart* that store! :) Bought a cookbook and the kids each got a book and used my Groupon! SCORE~ $45 worth of books for $27.
This is gunners project for the day he is working on the concept of measurement.
We talked about how weathermen measure rain fall in inches.
So he filled up a container with water and was working on measuring the water. he dumped and filled for quite some time. He really enjoyed trying to get the water to match up exactly with the number he was going for. I believe in this pic he was going for 3 inches.
Caden is working on a Safety procedure in case of a Tornado, shes reading the book Tornado~
Gunner Challenged me to a game of Chess I was pretty confident I would win....
See how many pieces I have captured!
But wait~ he sees my careless move.....
Check Mate
Now playing his sister!

Our Prayers For Jared~
Sometimes in life you are handed a surprise check mate~ its what you do next that matters. We were handed some big ones this past year that shook our core but through it, it has brought Jared and I closer and made us value our relationship with God more. We were talking tonight on the phone about how unbelievably harder this deployment has been. We think its because we have had to rely on each other for so much strength, being apart this long is taxing~ We found ourselves arguing quite a bit the past week, and then realized that, it wasn't working for us to be that unkind to each other. So we did what we do best and we began discussing our next big adventure~ we do well when we plan exciting moments for our family. Looking forward to what God has in store for us over the next few years.
